All Aboard! Scope Photography

Scope Photography returned for a special “Celebration of Sight” workshop led by McLachlan, welcoming a collective of community and arts workers.
The one-day workshop was held in partnership with All Aboard!, a volunteer-led canal boat initiative through Polwarth Church. The project aims to break down barriers, promote wellbeing for community groups and charities, and bring creativity along the river.
During the workshop, participants explored analogue photography, alternative photographic processes, printmaking, and creative expression through custom made sketchbooks.
The canal boat is wheelchair accessible with a bathroom, cushioned seating inside and out, and a small kitchen with a kettle and fridge. All journeys are supported and steered by a team of volunteers.
Local plants and river water were used to create cyanotypes, guided by photographer Zoe Hamill.
