The Cove Park residency marked a first artist residency.
Cove Park’s facilities and accessibility features - designed to support mobility, self catering and sensory needs - enabled an accessible residency experience to work confidently and safely in a new environment.
During the residency, McLachlan reflected on creating through isolation and restriction, exploring how limitation can shape process, perspective, and artistic growth while building work in unfamiliar spaces at a time when feelings of safety and creative possibility had been disrupted.
